for future post I will written in English I hope Japanese friend can understand, as you know our local dealer offer two type of Japanese import car services,first type pre order you can describe your preference about your budget specification,colour,mileage,score and optional equipment your dealer will searching and propose pictures and report for you as a purchaser you need to pay a deposit around 1200000 yen or MRY 30K for a security deposit if the car has been successfully bid that units belong to you,if you cancel it the security deposit are not refundable.

and second type will be a conventional type dealer bidding and bring in them self as a ready stock for display like a used car dealer but price will be higher due to exchange rate and dealer profit.
usually dealer did not provide any report buyer need to purchase a third party report them self at a cost of 1500 yen.and sometimes stuff shown in pictures will be missing due to others reason.
because the car once park at the customs parking or during transportation also a cause.or used car dealer got random customer are taken those small parts.but you at your own nothing related to them cause they got too much unit to take care of.so once you confirm that unit usually they will purchase those missing parts to secure deal. except expensive custom parts.or some price deduction.

not all Japanese dealer cars are supported overseas sell some Japanese dealer are only selling their car domestically.As a normal consumer we don't have any ability to purchase our self cause at our country they need a permission agreement to bring in any used car form Japan ,those approvals permit only certain people are allow to obtain,and it also have a extra cost for it. consumer will pay for that too .
a import tax also imposed into the car price , it makes those car so costly.
example a Japan used car selling around 5.4 mil exchange to MYR around 180K+permit+tax+transportation+dealer profit it end up selling price will be around 270K-280K.an extra 100K 320000 yen different.and financial cost are excluding let say today loan rate 2.6% your down payment 80K=240000yen and 200000 MYR for pain it will cost MYR 5200 pet year for interests if you take 9 year loan it will be total of interest MYR 46800 it became MYR 326800=10000000 yen and still not inclusive insurance and purchase documentation fees.
