Today I install cfrp Ntec fender extractor because I could not decide shipping price to USA for cfrp vented hood. This quality is very good and strong for price. Maybe it is stronger piece than manufacture metal fender. I have bodyshop paint them and refresh paint on my Note. They also cut fender extractor and they mount them with glue. They paint black. I am happy with result. I still wait for few small piece to finish mounting side piece.
Since turbo mount near firewall, I hope this will help with some heat extraction.
Very solid strong piece. Fitment is 👌
I will also install digital Greddy boost controller when I install my 550cc injectors. This time, I will push turbo for 0.8bar with Nismo hr16de intake manifold.
Now it is running wastegate of 0.49bar.
Here you can see comparison. Factory USDM hr16de vs Nismo hr16de. Much shorter and tube is more wide.
I think if you want torque in low rpm, you keep usdm intake. My turbo spool at 3000rpm so I dont need low torque. I switch for more power in higher rpm.
This is last thing I do for Nismo intake. I saw video of Mine's Note e12 and I think it has beautiful engine bay. So I try to replicate by painting my intake manifold the same wrinkle flat black. It is not perfect but I think it looks okay for my first time painting with wrinkle paint can.
Mine's car also have red valve cover but I think I will powder coat my valve cover black and my intercooler pipes black to match. I think it will have clean look like this.
When I visit local Toyota Supra shop that tune my car they start to do powder coat. I like this look all black. It looks so cool doesnt it?
I think I will choose this color for my engine bay and pipes.
Should I choose Nismo red color for valve cover or black? 🤔
